This is just not true

There is no college sport that is a better "minor" league than the NFL has with college football.  The NFL Draft is insanely popular because players are already famous before they even come into the league.  Basketball used to have that but not really anymore with all the foreign talent and the NBDL/foreign leagues/1 year removed from high school rule.

The talent coming out of college is always solid, there is tons of talent entering the NFL each year.  Without college football the NFL would not be nearly as popular.  But you want to pretend that currently the NFL does not rely greatly on college football to develop its stars and players, go ahead.  Maybe if some other league develops that can change but again the product is pretty suspect as is the coaching and the development.  They maybe had something with the AAF sadly that did not even work.

But you want to watch a near empty arena with players who are not good fight for a championship that means nothing go ahead and watch it.  Have fun.

Go ahead and be the antagonist for attention I guess.  At least that would make sense.

Projection much sheesh.. If you don't like the product just move on. Don't waltz into a thread about it and crap all over it & shame people who do enjoy it.

Obviously the NFL relies on College Football,  that is the only avenue these kids have.    It's not any better at preparing kids for the NFL than say college basketball does for the NBA though.   All the kids are just grouped in the same pool because it's the only option they have.    It's the same thing in both drafts evaluate the skills that will translate to the next level,  and ignore the stuff that worked at the college level that won't work professionally.

Take away the traditions and jerseys,    College football is not that great of a product or well ran.

I enjoy competitive football.  Could care less how many people are at the game?   NCAA is highly unbalanced
