Ozzy Posted March 13, 2023 Share Posted March 13, 2023 Good for Dillard but wow what a commitment, sign a guy for $10 mil a year almost that has only been a backup in the NFL and could not even become a starting OT with the best OL coach in the NFL. He did fill in at guard as well which is nice but that does seem like a lot for a guy who has started 9 games in his 3 year career and zero last season. -Hope- Posted March 13, 2023 Share Posted March 13, 2023 (edited) and yes, i think it's possible he slots in at guard depending on how the draft falls. he had some very nice games filling in at guard for the eagles. this opens the door to draft a guy like skoronski, try both of them out at LT/LG, figure out the best fit, and possibly have a sneaky good left side of the line in pretty short order. that particular situation may be a hefty dose of offseason hopium lol, but given we're trying to figure out a ton of moving parts on the OL, the versatility will be a plus.
