Please tag the guy who’s up next. Try to do a little digging on your teams needs. Don’t ‘save’ any prospects for Dallas. Pick the guy you think the team should pick. Factor in BPA and team needs. Defend your pick telling us why you chose who you did.

Carolina Panthers OTC.

“David Newton, Panthers reporter: Levis and Richardson still are being evaluated, so they're still technically in the running, but according to sources with knowledge of the search, the Panthers' choice is between Stroud and Young.

The biggest difference between the two is size, which took up a considerable amount of coach Frank Reich's time at Tuesday's annual media breakfast at the owners meetings.

Young is 5-foot-10 and 204 pounds. Stroud is 6-3, 214.

Reich made it clearer than he has at any point during the process that this is more about durability than height, and that durability is a concern with Young due to his stature, though he missed only one game at Alabama.”

With the first pick in the 2023 Draft the Carolina Panthers select:

C.J. Stroud QB Ohio State

I believe Frank Reich is concerned with Youngs durability and shows favor to Stroud. We all know they moved up for a QB. I believe Stroud is their guy.

Six mock draft sites all share a common theme, the Texans and Bryce Young.

DeMeco Ryans seems convinced as well.

“I know there’s a lot of talk about his size, but the guy’s done it at the highest level of college football, and size doesn’t seem to be a problem,” Ryans said according to Gallery Sports. “I don’t see it as an issue because I watch the tape. You put on the tape, and you see how smart he is – the anticipation, the accuracy, how this guy’s calm in critical moments.“

Doesn’t hurt that DeMeco is an Alabama guy.

Sorry about delay. Couldn’t catch a break.

was hoping Wilson would make it to 8, but no dice. With that Atlanta selects CB Christian Gonzalez

I think the Falcons would be happy with the board falling this way as they can secure an elite CB talent.

Christian Gonzalez | CB | Oregon

The Chicago Bears and @Nextyearfordaboyz are on the clock.

Well that more than settles it

Chicago is in desperate need of some help on the OL, particularly at tackle.

Skoronski is a popular pick for them, and I think he will be excellent, especially if he lands on a team that will treat him like Zach Martin. But Chicago is hunting for a tackle and they’re going to pick the guy with 32” arms over a prototype? I just don’t buy it.

Paris Johnson, OT, Ohio State
