49ers - Seahawks W, Cardinals W, Ravens L, Commanders W, Rams W

Eagles - Cowboys L, Seahawks L, Giants W, Cardinals W, Giants W

Cowboys - Eagles W, Bills W, Dolphins L, Lions W, Commanders W

Lions - Bears W, Broncos W, Vikings L, Cowboys L, Vikings W

So i think we end up 13-4, Eagles 13-4, Cowboys 13-4, Lions 12-5

Not sure how the seeding would play out in that scenario

I think if this is the case at the end, we would have the tie breaker since we beat both teams, but I can’t remember if they utilize the SOS or anything else.

Nope, first is head to head, even in the three way scenario. If we tie with any combination of the Eagles and Cowboys, we're first because we beat both.

We beat both the Eagles and Cowboys, so we get the 1 seed. Then it goes to division tiebreakers for the NFC East and 2 seed.

  • Head to head split
  • Division record both 5-1(swept everyone but the other)
  • Conference record both 9-3(Eagles lost to us, Cowboys, and Hawks, Cowboys lost to Cards, us, and Eagles)
  • Record vs common opponents:
    • Giants 2x(both 2-0)
    • Commanders 2x(both 2-0)
    • 49ers(both lost)
    • Seahawks(Cowboys won, Eagles lost)
    • Rams(both won)
    • Cards(Cowboys lost, Eagles won)
    • Dolphins(Eagles won, Cowboys lost)
    • Bills(both won)
    • Jets(Cowboys won, Eagles lost)
    • Patriots(both won)
    • Both 9-3
  • Strength of victory: Eagles at .484, Cowboys at .330
  • Strength of schedule: Eagles at .493, Cowboys at .397

Don't know how the SOV/SOS shakes out once the season is over, but based on what they are currently Eagles get the 2, Cowboys get the 5

If all the other games play out the same way but the Lions were to beat the Vikings so that there's a four way tie at 13-4, division tiebreaker comes first, so Cowboys are automatically knocked to 5. We haven't played the Lions so can't claim H2H, but we'd have a 11-1 record within the conference to the Eagles' 9-3 and Lions' 9-3(lost to Seahawks, Packers, and Cowboys), so would still win the 1 seed.

In common games:

  • Cowboys(Lions 0-1, Eagles 1-1)
  • Vikings(Lions 2-0, Eagles 1-0)
  • Bucs(both won)
  • Seahawks(both lost)
  • Chiefs(both won)
  • Both 4-2

Strength of victory: Eagles .484, Lions .417
Strength of schedule: Eagles .493, Lions .458

So the seeds would probably still be the same. Dallas also beats Detroit head to head so if their SOV suddenly rises above Philly's they'd also finish second due to having an inferior conference record but having H2H over the Lions

1. SF
2. Philly
3. Detroit
4. NFC South
5. Cowboys

Would have preferred this to Logan Ryan, I think .

Yea, I don't understand how we weren't beating down his door.

Only thing that comes to mind is Saleh told Lynch don't waste your time.

But then Demeco turns around and signs him so idk.

Probably wanted to opportunity to start and knew it probably wouldn't happen here.

....so there might be a chance that Ben Johnson ends up coaching Josh Allen? Damn.

Schefter shared this tweet, McDermott is a goner. Lot of good nuggets in those articles, but about half of each one is behind a pay wall

Oh wow!

Yea, if that’s the case then Ben Johnson would more than likely prefer Buf over places like Carolina or Chicago if he leaves. But Chargers could be enticing unless the Belichick rumors are true.
