DingoLadd
Offense This week, we want to attack Wichita back 7 with our passing game. The losses of Sean Lee and Rashaan Melvin left them vulnerable to our passing game and we will attack Wichita corners and the LB on Witten (assuming Kuechly covers Kelce) relentlessly. We will use a safe, short passing offense, targeting to move the chains constantly, limiting Smith deep coverage impacts. Ken Crawley covers WR2 IRL and Brian Poole slot corners, they should be overwhelmed with AJ Green and TY Hilton in man coverage. If we catch Smith on underneath coverage duties, Matt Ryan will audible for a deep shot to either AJ Green or TY Hilton, as we think they can beat Ron Parker. Witten and Everett will rotate at TE2 and will be featured heavily. Witten route running skills and Everett athleticism complement each other well, and we think they can beat whoever cover them, whether it’s Parker from the safety position or AJ Klein or another LB. If Parker gets the TE2, we will adjust the playbook and use more deep shots to AJ Green and TY Hilton, as Smith can’t be everywhere on the field. Kelce will have a role a bit different than usual. If Wichita choses a man coverage scheme, we assume that Kuechly will cover him, in which case we won’t target him that much. However, we will ask him to run zone routes as he will be our first target against zone defense. Look for him to run corner routes at the sidelines, zone hitches etc. The goal for Ryan is to hit him between 2 zones whenever Wichita comes out in zone. If Wichita runs mostly man coverage and use Luke on Kelce, Kelce will chip Brandon Graham before releasing to his route. We will have a 65:35 pass:run ratio this week and, as often, Ajayi will carry the load in terms of run. However, Drake will see the field a bit more often than usual because of our heaving passing gameplan. Our RB will be a safety valve for Matt Ryan underneath or stay in pass pro to help vs Graham, who is the only pass rusher we fear in Wichita. Defense Wichita bolsters a very good and very balanced offense that will be tough to limit. We won’t get cute and play our defense hoping we can force a couple of turnovers or get a crucial stop in a game that should be a shootout. We lost two players in our secondary this week in Talib and Marcus Williams, but we still like our secondary enough to use our usual off man coverage. Slay will get Dez. 2 years ago, he limited him to 3 catches for 48 yards, and while we don’t necessarily expect the same outcome, we think he can limit his production. Gaines will get Parker, if Wichita foolishly keeps starting him. If Stills starts, we will keep Coleman deep on his side to help Gaines. Barry Church gets Olsen and Shazier gets Brate. Bradham and Davis are our factor X. They will alternate between keying on Fournette, covering underneath in zone, blitzing or compensating a blitz. As always, we will rotate our DL with Ingram getting 80% of the snaps, Zettel getting 55%, Barnett getting 40% and JPP getting 25%. McCoy will play 90% of the snaps, Geno 75% and Harris 35% as a run stiffing DT. McGee will come in as our NT in heavy formations. Offense: We will be running a balanced offense this week. In the passing game we will split the TE out wide to spread the defense and open up the middle of the field and the slot receiver vertical with Stills. We will allow Goff to find the open man instead of targeting a certain WR more. Brate will come in sporadically especially in red zone to provide coverage mismatches. Defense: We will sell out against the pass by 1. Sporting overload blitzes especially to Ryans blindside to rattle him in the pocket and 2. Provide bump and run coverage with the CBs with safeties covering over top to stop the deep pass. Smith will lock down the TE while Kuechly patrols the middle of the field and plays the RB. By keeping Ryan underpressure and throwing off his timing with the bump and run it will throw off his timing, limit the deep pass, and dorce him into untimely errors. None of Seouls RBs have been true consistent running threats this season and having Kuechly and Smith up with a solid run defensiveline, any run sported this week wont have much running room. DingoLadd
Seoul's offense is just too good for Wichita's secondary to contain. This is closer than I'd expect but Seoul pulls away in the 4th. 28-17 Seoul.
Jlash
I think PR matched up pretty well in this one, I wish he would've gotten a little more in depth with it.
Hockey5djh
@DingoLadd. Can you please include the team names in the line-ups and descriptions? I had to go back and forth a few times to differentiate the teams. As far as the line-up goes I really like what Wichita wrote and with a little more detail he might have been able to overcome the talent deficit, unfortunately Seoul takes this one. More detail. Sounds like add fluff to add fluff to make the game plan look bigger.
Jlash
Just now, PR said: More depth. More detail. Sounds like add fluff to add fluff to make the game plan look bigger. Not really. I just think if you have some mismatches, point them out. Show how you'd exploit them. Fluff is including PFF scores or crazy analytics like what mph a player can reach. Not looking for fluff but your offensive game plan is literally 4 sentences and doesn't tell us what match-ups you think are wins or who you're targeting as a strength/weakness. When you're against a team with more talent these little details sometimes will make the difference.

That would literally go against the point of the game plan by saying "let's focus on on WR that may has a mismatch. The defense needs to respect all parts of the field, especially with the TE and slot.

Whicker
I think Rashaan Melvin's absence is the real killer for Wichita. Ken Crawley has been playing well but he looks much better as a #2. I also don't like PR's effort this week although like others said his strategy was good. Going to go Seoul
