Max Kellerman replaced Bayless.

Nick Wright is pretty good IMO.

I agree. I think Bayless is done. That his confrontational style has grown thin.
Wright's actually fairly well informed - which I appreciate. He can be a bit much when he lets his KC fanboy take over.....but overall that group has a decent chemistry and actually seem to enjoy working with each other - contrary to Undisputed.

I think a whole lot of Packer fans share this sentiment. The talent it there, but it was there last year and the year before as well. Even if they stomp the Bears, it will still be cautious optimism at that point. The Bears aren't exactly going to be a juggernaut on offense this year.

Agree. If we're to be competitive this year...the defense as a whole has to come through when it matters.

You know what is going to help out defense. Jordan Love running MLF's offense the way it was intended. I think we could lead the league in TOP this year. It will be easier for the offense to convert when the quarterback uses the middle of the field and runs the coach's offense rather than his version of it.

I'm not certain our offense will be a TOP juggernaut.....which is why I feel the defense needs to take some of the pressure off the offensive unit.
Again....all thats in the context of us actually winning games. I dont see us being overly successful if Love & Company are continually pressed for field time or need to be making up double digit deficits. The defense needs to be stout this year. The Packers were +2 in giveaways/takeaways last year and although that was good enough for 12th in the league.....I hope they do better this year. Will they? Time will tell.

I didn't say we were going to be. We are going to win TOP in most games though.

Well....okay...perhaps the wrong word choice then? We wont be a "juggernaut" but you did say "we could lead the league in TOP this year."

That means we are going to control the ball through MLF's offense. Not run up and down the field on people.

That sounds like a NO! Does that make Malik Heath the #3 WR against the Bears?

Depending on how you look at it, he may be #2.  He is probably the other outside receiver.

But to be honest, I wouldn't doubt that we rotate Watson, Heath, Reed, and Toure quite a bit, and even add Doubs to the mix if he is a go.

Los Angeles Rams All-Pro wide receiver Cooper Kupp was in Minnesota on Monday to see a specialist in the hopes of getting at the root of his hamstring issues, coach Sean McVay said. The visit comes after Kupp had a setback with his recovery from a hamstring injury last week.

McVay said Kupp remains day-to-day, adding that he should have more clarity on Kupp's availability for Week 1 on Wednesday. The Rams open their season Sunday at the Seattle Seahawks.

Matt Stafford may be wishing he had retired.
