Kind of hoping this is the year the SEC doesn't get a team in the Finals. Hoping for Florida State vs. Michigan.

You'd have better odds getting hit by lightning bolts twice in succession.

Well, the SEC thing isn't happening, but Michigan and Florida State are still alive. FSU, barely after losing their QB.

Nobody is beating Georgia, again!

This UGA team isn't the last two.  I think Michigan, Oregon, Alabama, and Texas all have a chance against the Dawgs.

I agree they aren't as good as the past two teams. They are way better than the rest still.

RANK, TEAM RECORD
1. Georgia 12-0
2. Michigan 12-0
3. Washington 12-0
4. Florida State 12-0
5. Oregon 11-1
6. Ohio State 11-1
7. Texas 11-1
8. Alabama 11-1

So the top 4 are likely in a win and they're in situation. Their games this weekend are:

#1 Georgia vs #8 Alabama in SEC Title Game
#2 Michigan vs #16 Iowa in Big Ten Title Game
#3 Washington vs #5 Oregon in Pac 12 Title Game
#4 Florida St. vs #14 Louisville in ACC Title Game.

I think Oregon likely gets in if they beat Washington.
What happens if Alabama beats Georgia?
What happens if Iowa beats Michigan?
Is there a path for idle Ohio St. if an undefeated team or two get knocked off?

For Ohio State to get in Georgia, Michigan, (Winner of Wash/Ore) get in. Florida State loses and OSU should get in. They would be a lock if Texas lost as well.

The playoffs start in 2024 so the Big Ten actually has 4 teams in the top 6. SEC no longer king of the hill.

I want to see an Alabama win over Georgia while the other top teams all win just to see what the selection committee does.

I don't because there is such an SEC bias it stinks. They would put Alabama and Georgia in with Michigan and Washington. Florida State would get screwed. The excuse would be their QB is out.

They would also make sure Alabama and Georgia did not play each other in the semi finals.

There is no way an undefeated Florida State team would be excluded in favor of two 1 loss teams.  That is why I want to see what the committee would do.
