D82
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38320972/sources-cowboys-rt-terence-steele-gets-868m-extension I’m not sure I like this, especially coming off an injury.
textaz03
Yeahhhhhhhh I would have waited till mid season or so to see how he responds off that injury. but good deal for him.
Scoundrel
Is this the second highest contract for an undrafted player ever after Tony Romo?

Nextyearfordaboyz
Extremely reasonable cost because of the injury. If this forum had their way, we’d let everyone walk. Hard to get better just letting high quality starters walk out the door. This won’t have an impact on our ability to sign CeeDee or Micah. I think this is a good deal.

Tony7188
They didn’t have to do this deal rn. Could’ve waited to see if he would be the same player after injury. The contract isn’t a huge overpay, but it could backfire big time. Edited September 3 by Tony7188
WizardHawk
Assuming he stays on course and plays like he did pre-injury, terrific deal and we’re paying one of the best RTs in the league, mid-range money by next end of the next FA period. I get why people are gun-shy after Gallup. But you get far more cap-friendly deals if you pay early. A few misses is the price of doing business.
