I rarely make sports predictions, but I actually think Denver will trade out of a Top-3 pick for one of two reasons: 1) Payton's ego won't allow him to give up on his Wilson reclamation project after just one year, and he convinces the FO to go along with it, or 2) Payton wants to go with Williams or Maye, but is overruled by the FO due to the insane amount of capital they still have tied up in Wilson as well as the huge compensation they know they'll get by trading down -- which will allow them to take a QB later in the 1st (I actually think Bo Nix is a good fit for Payton's style of offense) as well as get help for the defense.
