The QB prospects get overvalued each year by this line of thinking. NFL "analysts" will say whatever they can to drum up attention. They can't wait for draft and free agency seasons, they spew nonsense and hope something sticks. If people keep overdrafting QBs, the rich will keep getting richer. Not sure where you got any indication I wanted McCarthy at all. I was more speaking on "the potential to become 1st round quality" for QB prospects in general. By all means, keep swinging for the HR instead of trying to consistently get on base. That's how the majority of this fan base feels.
