Now if that entire post was about offensive players then yeah call em out and mention it isnt the correct place but it wasnt. The bar was so low with Donatells defense and Zimmer’s defense towards the end, there was only one way up. I love the aggressive style of defense Flores runs, it’s refreshing after watching Donatell and Zimmer play things so vanilla. Still have a ways to go however. I don't think he even needs elite talent to produce a top defense, but he needs a lot more talent than they currently have. The defensive line has to be priority number one in the offseason. We simply don't have any talent there. Phillips should be the third best player on your DL. Not your best player. Lowry should be in a rotation. I'm still hopeful that they will make a big push for Wilkins from Miami. Phillips, Wilkins, and maybe Roy continuing his upward trajectory will help. Blackmon & Evans have plenty to learn and talent to progress as players. I'm still holding out hope Cine & Booth can turn into plus rotational players.
