NE has a case as the worse team in the AFC, oh have the mighty have fallen

I was listening to a podcast today at work and they were talking about Harbaugh, Tomlin, and Belichick and the “changing of the guard” with them and “had the game passed them by”.

Rather interesting things came from it. With backup QBs they are:

BB: 0.310

MT: 0.550

JH: 0.560

They credited Harbaugh with having the best pivot from Flacco to Lamar with Lamar likely saving his job and he should take a hit for that. But at the same time they said they still are plagued by average WR play and average pass rush yet somehow get away with it.

They credited Tomlin with being early to open the offense, early to go smaller/faster on defense. But they hit him with the sticks to things a little too long. But they said that’s good because it allows for development.

And they really took BB to task. They said he had the biggest downfall because he’s the worst of the three at roster building. They also hit him with not updating his systems to adjust to the players, rather he relies on finding players for what he wants at a spot.

Was just about to post this.  It’s absurd and honestly disheartening as a fan.

I posted it here on another thread yet no replies, but good to know people here saw this elsewhere to verify it might be actually legit. My source (SteelersNow) said he injured the MCL in the rams game O.o.    They didn't have that fact correct, hopes were other 'facts' aren't either.

This is terrible coaching then, thats all there is to it.  Why play a LT with Knee recovering when the replacement was better .

again, the tomlin AR2 way might be to preserve everyone at all costs. In this example, keep Jones healthy and only play when we absolutely need to .

now OTOH if Moore replaced Chuks beacuse Chuks got hurt , then it wouldn't be so bad. Replacing Jones though, is terrible coaching (for now) . Can't blame Canada for this!

Analysis:

Even bigger news for the upcoming Rams game.

With Kyren Williams (ankle) and Ronnie Rivers (knee) battling injuries, Zach Evans could be in line for an increased role Sunday against the Steelers.

Kyren Williams is expected to miss Week 7, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, while Rivers is reportedly battling a sprained PCL.  Evans was a sixth-round pick by the Rams in the 2023 Draft but has played just six offensive snaps, all of which came in Week 6 against Arizona when Evans rushed four times for 10 yards in relief. Royce Freeman is on the Rams' practice squad and would likely be elevated should Williams and Rivers sit.
