I would hope we are aggressive again, but it isn't goff this week... He needs rhythm, Mahomes... Well, he does not. It's a big test for the back field who might have to really deal with extended plays. Either way it's a great test and a game I feel way better about than I did a month ago.

And Mahomes has something Goff can only dream of: mobility and the ability to evade the rush and gain yards on the ground.

No he hasn't been!  I mean yeah he hit MVS in the hands for a should have been TD pass but sailed about half his other passes way over everyone's heads or way short in every game I've watched him in this year.

There's a reason the Chiefs offense has been looking poor all year

The reason is N A G Y

He's no genius, but it's more like the Chiefs' are lacking quality receivers this year to get the job done, and hence Mahomes isn't hitting the big play scramble passes like he used to.  Limited in what you can do when Kelce and McKinnon are your only surefire reliable passing weapons.

Thing is in the past he would usually hit guys down the field on those plays, but he's not been doing that this year.

Now I get it, you wouldn't usually associate the words Mahomes and inaccuracy together, but that's exactly what he's been throughout the year.  He may do better or worse against us than he did against the Eagles, but I just don't see the offensive spigot suddenly getting turned on for the Chiefs in this game.

They're passing attack hasnt been what it was....I attribute mostly due to lose of top talent. At this stage, Kelce's his only sure thing.

Both QBs need receivers though, and Goff has a highly talented bunch.  Mahomes does not compared to the current crop in Detroit or past Chiefs teams with the likes of Tyreek and JJSS on them.  I get it that you never want to count him out, but he's been firing way more errant passes this year than I've ever seen him throw and looking like Rodgers was last year.  Anyone who doubts me needs to go watch game replays on NFL+ and watch his deep balls getting sailed out to nobody often.

The main reason the Chiefs are 7-3 thus far is their defense has been causing turnovers and giving opposing offenses problems.  So yeah, Love and the offense will have their hands full too, but we're actually getting things clicking now in that department, and if that continues I smell a win coming.

I normally wouldn't have faith in Barry succeeding, but he held an even better Mahomes offense to only 13 in Arrowhead 2 years ago, and this team should be plenty stoppable for him here at home.

I was at that Monday Night scorefest at Lambeau in 1983 against Washington.  I dont think the difference between these teams is as great as that, but we need an electric night from the fanbase.  Big win if we can pull it off.

48-47! I remember it well!
