It changes how the opposing offense plays. They are less aggressive because they have to think about protecting the ball. Don't want to go down 2 scores. But, if you have the lead, well, why not be overly aggressive??? Go up 2 scores, pin your ears back and play defense. Any pee wee coach can see that.
