It is funny how some of the fans have shifted from “Jefferson is going to want to play with a better QB and won’t resign if Kirk is the QB” to “Jefferson isn’t going to want to sign here if they don’t resign Kirk.” It’s as if they finally remembered the T- Jack/Ponder/Frerotte/Bradford years happened. I didn’t get the game live but i got scoring updates especially since Cousins/Addision are on my fantasy team. Going to 20-3 with that TD pass to Addison, man I was legit thinking everything is click right and going in the right direction. Kirk playing the best I’ve seen, all the receiving weapons, very good OL, ascending defence as they adjust to the new DC. Then i get an update on my phone that “Kirk is out”’, and I’m thinking what? Then seeing how the defense started to come together. I said this a week or two ago, but this might be the biggest "what if" season in Vikings history. It just seemed so different after the 49ers game and that we were destined for a deep, competitive playoff run. I truly believe that if Cousins had been healthy this year, this team would have been fighting for the one seed even after starting 1-4. They certainly win the NFC North. Maybe it is the purple-colored glasses, but I really do think we could have made it to the Super Bowl, especially, as you said, seeing how vulnerable those other top teams in the conference seem to be. 6 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
