EaglesPeteC
OL Las Vegas Franchise Cornerstone: Penei Sewell, Quinton Nelson, Joe Thuney Quality Starter: Erik McCoy Competitive Starter: Alaric Jackson, Luke Goedeke Quality Depth: Will Hernandez, Evan Brown Incomplete Evaluation: Kingsley Suamatia Total Points: 31pts Highlighted by 3 cornerstones and a quality starter, Vegas has a very strong starting 5 and a couple nice depth pieces going into the season. Rome Franchise Cornerstone: Lane Johnson+, Chris Lindstrom Quality Starter: Terron Armstead, Ethan Pocic Competitive Starter: Bernhard Rainmann, Cam Jurgens Quality Depth- Nicholas Petit Frier, O’Cyrus Torrance, Luke Fortner Incomplete Evaluation: Christian Haynes, Troy Fautanu, Luke Wypler Total Points: 30pts Rome has a really compelling argument to be first if you want to consider Armstead a Cornerstone but his recent injury history and him flirting with retirement makes me gunshy to put him in that category anymore. I do think Rome has the superior depth to Vegas Greenland Franchise Cornerstone: Rayshawn Slater, Christian Darrisaw Quality Starter: Trey Smith, Ryan Kelly Competitive Starter: Aaron Banks, Kenyon Green Incomplete Evaluation: JC Latham, Travis Clayton, Beaux Limmer Total Points: 26 pts Greenland has 4 our of their 5 starters on absolute lockdown and has 2 competitive starting options at the last guard spot. Almost all of their depth is unproved rookies behind them. Cancun Franchise Cornerstone: Laremy Tunsil Quality Starter: Robert Hunt+, Kevin Dotson, Competitive Starter: Broderick Jones+, Zion Johnson, Andre James Quality Depth: Rasheed Walker, Ricky Stromberg, Cordell Volson Incomplete Evaluation: Patrick Paul, Jackson Powers Johnson Total Points: 26 pts Tunsil locks down their left tackle spot and Cancun went out and spent up on two guards this offseason. They also have a few nice depth pieces that should make this a rock solid group going into the season. Hungary Franchise Cornerstone: Tyler Linderbaum Quality Starter: Tyron Smith+, Tyler Moton Competitive Starter: Kevin Zeitler, Alex Cappa Quality Depth: Trenton Brown, Walker Little, Daniel Faalale, Blake Freeland, Anthony Bradford Incomplete Evaluation: Blake Fisher, Dominic Puni Replacement Level: Brady Christenten Total Points: 25pts A nice starting 5 and plenty of startable options for depth put Hungary in a good position to maintain a line with a solid floor all season. Svalbard Franchise Cornerstone: Tyler Smith Quality Starter: Orlando Brown Jr, Kaleb McGary Competitive Starter: Will Fries, Sidy Sow, Aaron Brewer Quality Depth: Trevor Penning, David Edwards, Cade Mays Incomplete Evaluation: Andrew Vorhees, Brock Hoffman, Olu Oluwatimi Replacement Level: Jake Andrews Total Points: 24pts Tyler Smith is the biggest standout here with a pair of starting tackles that won’t be weak points. The interior beyond Smith has some good options but ones that could be the target of defensive game plans. Ivory Coast Franchise Cornerstone: Trent Williams+, Zack Martin+ Quality Starter: Tyler Biadasz Quality Depth: Isaiah Wynn, Josh Ezeudu, Josh Myers, Juice Scruggs Incomplete Evaluation: Tyler Guyton, Caden Wallace Total Points: 24 pts ICBR has two stalwarts with Williams and Martin and brought in a solid center in Biadasz this offseason. I’ve got questions beyond that. Berlin Franchise Cornerstone: Tristan Wirfs, Kolton Miller Competitive Starter: Ben Powers, Nate Davis, Drew Dahlman Quality Depth: Spencer Buford, Ed Ingram Incomplete Evaluation: Jordan Morgan, Sedrick Van Pran, Cooper Beebe, Taner Bortolini Total Points: 22pts Berlin has a great starting duo of Tackles but their starting guards got huge contracts last year and have underwhelmed in their new locations. They are relying on a lot of rookies for depth. Now I can see why Rags was campaigning to separate Tackles and Interior….lol Akureyri Quality Starter: Ronnie Stanley Competitive Starter: Taylor Decker, Anton Harrison, Dawand Jones, James Daniels, Alijiah Vera Tucker, Dylan Parham, Mitch Morse, Joe Tippmann Quality Depth: Cody Mauch Incomplete Evaluation: Brandon Coleman, Zak Zinter, Zach Frasier Replacement Level: Donovan Smith, Jaelyn Duncan Total Points: 21pts I don’t think Stanley with his age and injury history can be considered cornerstone anymore. RG has a ton of players with upside that I think can easily prove that they deserve upward mobility from Competitive Starter. Akureyri should have a lot of optimism that this group will be better than this ranking suggests. Raleigh Franchise Cornerstone: Jordan Mailata Quality Starter: Landon Dickerson+ Competitive Starter: Matthew Bergeron, Hijalte Frodholdt Quality Depth: Mekhi Becton, Wanya Morris, Ben Cleveland, Dalton Risner, Bradley Bozeman Incomplete Evaluation: Taliese Fuaga, Warren McClendon, Mason McCormick, Nick Saldiveri Replacement Level: Connor Williams Total Points: 21pts The NFL has embraced Mailata as a Cornerstone OT which means that literally nobody can vote on games anymore...….Dickerson is on his way to Cornerstone status as well. Relying in a rookie starter at RT and the Conor Williams late season injury in a contract year are what is weighing down my group a bit, but I feel good about the floor and depth of my OL. Anchorage Franchise Cornerstone: Andrew Thomas Quality Starter: Wyatt Teller, Frank Ragnow Competitive Starter: Graham Glasgow, Jamaree Salyer Quality Depth: Spencer Brown Incomplete Evaluation: Amarius Mims, Graham Barton Total Points: 20pts Anchorage has a solid starting 5 but don’t have much in the way of depth if they accrue injuries. Lancaster Franchise Cornerstone: Creed Humphrey+ Quality Starter: Sam Cosmi Competitive Starter: Ikem Ekwonu, Braxton Jones, Steve Avila Quality Depth: Evan Neal, Thayer Munford Incomplete Evaluation: Olu Fashanu, Roger Rosengarten, Chandler Zavala, Malaesala Laulu Total Points: 19pts Beyond Humphrey and Cosmi I’d be nervous about a few spots going into the season. There are plenty of options, but they need rookies to produce or players like Ekwonu to bounce back to form. Quebec Quality Starter: Quinn Meinerz, Lloyd Cushenberry, Dion Dawkins Competitive Starter:, Issac Seumalo, Tevin Jenkins Quality Depth: Max Mitchell Incomplete Evaluation: Kiran Amegadjie, Tyler Steen, Isaiah Adams Total Points: 17pts Quebec has a lot of good options in the middle of the offensive line but there is a serious lack of options at OT. Cuba Quality Starter: Charles Cross, Elgton Jenkins Competitive Starter: Darnell Wright+, Ezra Cleveland, Cole Strange Quality Depth: Garrett Bradbury Total Points: 16pts Cuba has a nice floor of a starting 5 but nobody that overly stands out and a lack of depth. CWM Quality Starter: Peter Skoronski Competitive Starter: Paris Johnson+, Brandon Scherff+, John Michael Schmitz Quality Depth: Dillon Radunz, Laken Tomlinson, Robert Hainsey Incomplete Evaluation: Joe Alt, Giovanni Matu Replacement Level: Andre Dillard, David Bakhitari Total Points: 14pts CWM have a lot of names here. They have some nice young players, with Alt, Johnson, Skoronski and JMS, but they need to prove more for them to be higher. Beyond them, there is a lot of names that aren’t much more than emergency fill ins. New Orleans Quality Starter: David Andrews Competitive Starter: Abraham Lucas Incomplete Evaluation: Matt Goncalves Total Points: 6pts New Orleans is pretty content with relying on the tank to create an OL, so a big TBD for them right now.
InjuredReserve
This was cool to see all laid out and clearly a ton of work. Completely forgot Cancun added multiple top tier guards. That line looking solid.

adamq
Decker is definitely a quality starter & Donovan Smith is at least quality depth even at his age, you fool. Am I doing this right

That line looking solid. We replaced our entire interior. James is a clear downgrade at center but still a good player and the obvious handcuff for JPJ. Also, a lot cheaper than Ryan Kelly.

EaglesPeteC
EDGE Anchorage Franchise Cornerstone: Micah Parsons+, Aidan Hutchinson Quality Starter- Leonard Floyd Quality Depth- Jonathan Cooper+, James Houston Total Points: 23pts The duo of Parsons and Hutchinson keeps Anchorage at the top of the heap despite losing some of their impressive depth from last year Berlin Franchise Cornerstone: Nick Bosa+, Trey Hendrickson Competitive Starter: Nik Bonitto Quality Depth: Baron Browning, Joe Tryon, Zach Harrison Replacement Level: Alex Wright Total Points: 20pts The draft day trade for Nick Bosa to go along with Hendrickson slingshotted Berlin to a place that challenges Anchorage for the top spot. Rome Quality Starter: Matthew Judon+, George Karlaftis, Jaelen Phillips, Bryce Huff Competitive Starter: Chase Young Incomplete Evaluation: Chop Robinson, Andre Carter Total Points: 19pts I think Rome has the deepest room in the league. Judon is fringe cornerstone and they have several others that can have upward mobility. Chase Young is a very intriguing wild card Quebec Franchise Cornerstone: Josh Allen Quality Starter: Montez Sweat+, Haason Reddick Competitive Starter: Boye Mafe Quality Depth: Joseph Ossai Incomplete Evaluation: Darius Robinson Total Points: 19pts Quebec’s top 3 can challenge any offensive line in the league and have a few quality depth pieces as well. Akureyri Quality Starter- Alex Highsmith+, AJ Epenesa Competitive Starter: BJ Ojulari, Dayo Odeyingbo, Carl Granderson+ Quality Depth- Sam Williams, Charles Omenihu Incomplete Evaluation: Derrick Hall Replacement Level- Josh Pascal Total Points- 18pts While lacking elite top end talent, the depth of this group gets them in the top 5. Hungary Franchise Cornerstone: Maxx Crosby Quality Starter- Will Anderson+, Jadeveon Clowney Quality Depth- Odafe Oweh Incomplete Evaluation: KJ Henry, Tyler Lacy Replacement Level: Charles Harris, Frank Clark Total Points: 17pts Hungary has an elite duo with upward mobility and a couple nice depth pieces as well to make a formidable 4 man rotation. Raleigh Franchise Cornerstone: Danielle Hunter Quality Starter: Jermaine Johnson, Josh Sweat Quality Depth: Nick Herbig, Kingsley Enagbare Incomplete Evaluation: Nolan Smith Replacement Level: Cam Thomas Total Points: 17pts Raleigh’s top 3 keep stress on opposing offensive lines and Herbig showed some nice flashes in year one. Nolan Smith is the wild card of the group. Ivory Coast Franchise Cornerstone: Myles Garrett+, Khalil Mack Quality Depth: Darrell Taylor Incomplete Evaluation: Dallas Turner, Will McDonald, Jonah Elliss Total Points: 16pts I was surprised to see ICBR this low on the list with that elite duo, but there really isn’t much proven depth behind them. Having Dallas Turner waiting in the wings means that this group could actually be much better than this ranking if he hits. Cuba Quality Starter: Joey Bosa, Rashan Gary+ Competitive Starter: , Lukas Van Ness Incomplete Evaluation: Isaiah McGuire Total Points: 11pts Cuba was higher until they moved Van Ginkel to LB and Seiler to DT taking away their depth. The addition of Bosa to go along with Gary gives them a nice top 3. Van Ness had some good moments in year 1. They could use a little more depth behind them. New Orleans Quality Starter: Za’Darius Smith Competitive Starter: Tuli Tuipulotu, YaYa Diaby Quality Depth: Tyree Wilson Incomplete Evaluation: Laiatu Latu, Jaylx Hunt Replacement Level: Dominique Robertson Total Points: 11pts Tu'ipulotu and Diaby had a nice rookie years helping NO recover from a disappointing one from Wilson. They have a fleet of promising young talent with the vet of Za’Darius Smith leading the way. Cancun Quality Starter- Kayvon Thibodeaux, Greg Rousseau Competitive Starter- Dorance Armstrong+, Incomplete Evaluation: Isaiah Foskey, Mo Kamara Replacement Level: Andre Jones Jr Total Points: 11pts A nice top 3 that if they play to their potential more consistently this group can outperform their ranking. Svalbard Quality Starter: Jonathan Greenard Competitive Starter: Malcolm Koonce, Uchenna Nwosu, Arden Key Quality Depth: Zaven Collins Total Points: 11pts A nice deep group that just lacks the top end talent to be considered above the teams ahead of them on this list. Las Vegas Quality Starter: Brian Burns+, Kwity Paye Quality Depth: Azeez Ojulari Incomplete Evaluation: Chris Braswell, Marshon Kneeland, Adisa Issac Total Points: 10pts Burns and Paye is a strong but not elite duo and there isn’t much proven behind them. Lancaster Franchise Cornerstone: TJ Watt+ Competitive Starter; Keion White Incomplete Evaluation: Jared Verse, Felix Anudike Uzomah, Austin Booker Total Points: 10pts Lancaster is here basically on Watt alone. White had a very good rookie year and Verse has great potential, so I can see them coming together to make a strong group. CWM Quality Starter: Demarcus Lawrence Competitive Starter: Sam Hubbard+, Arnold Ebiketie, Byron Young Incomplete Evaluation: Myles Murphy, Braelen Trice Total Points: 9pts This group being so low is more a testament to no team being in trouble at the EDGE position more than this being a bad group. There is lots to get excited about with Lawrence, Hubbard and Young, but I look at this as a complimentary group. Greenland Quality Starter- Harold Landry, Travon Walker Quality Depth- Drake Jackson Incomplete Evaluation: Elerson Smith, Myjai Sanders Total Points: 9pts Again, Greenland being last really is more about their depth than not having good starters. Landry and Walker, if they are both playing their best, are a quality BDL duo. I really just don’t see too much after them. Next up: DT
