I don't think there are enough posts about the Lions drafting Gibbs.

To the same degree, people were critical of Montgomery as HB1 every week for the first half of the year.

He's the drive to their running game. Gibbs is fantastic and worth the pick, but Montgomery needs his due, too.

In fairness, Saleh wasn't the most creative DC either.

Ryans is just a special dude.

I didn’t like Saleh either.. and thought the Jets were dumb for hiring him. No creativity. And not much of a personality, either.

Take a risk on and up and comer. Hiring these vets like Wilks is always a horrendous idea. Always, always, an up and comer.

Whatever happened to Kinlaw?  I remember really wanting him in the draft.

He's basically been terrible his entire career.

But he makes up for it by often being hurt

Taking a runningback at 12 is not a bad pick If you already have the offensive line and other intangibles

Pretty sure the criticism over the pick was that Detroit had major issues in the secondary, plus you can find serviceable running backs in later rounds these days.

49ers are not dead by any means. They have a great chunk offense.

I'm not counting out their offense.  But I'm not sure their defense has an answer for the Lions' physicality.  Lions are blowing them off the ball every other play.
