D82
Good for Dan. Always liked him when he was a player.
MaddHatter
Morgan started out in Seattle from 2010 to 2017 under John Schneider going from intern to Director of Pro Personnel, helping build the Legion of Boom before spending 3 years under Brandon Beane in Buffalo and the last 2 years as the AGM in Carolina.
iknowcool
A lot of Panthers fans aren't happy, but I'll try and be optimistic. From what I have heard and read, the plan still is to add someone else to the front office. Dan will be the personnel guy, other candidate will handle contracts/cap/etc and they will work together. We need to nail this HC hire. Hard to tell who the favorite is (after Ben Johnson) but I'm beginning to think Canales might be the guy. He was coaching in Seattle when Dan worked the FO. MaddHatter
Wouldn't Dan Quinn also be one of the Seattle guys he worked with?

Yeah but we haven’t requested a 2nd interview with him (yet), which we have with Canales
jrry32
At a minimum, the Panthers have the hardest hitting GM in the business, right?
jrry32
Also, thinking of retired Panthers' LBs made me think of Luke Kuechly. It's crazy that dude retired almost five years ago, yet is still young enough that he could be an All Pro ILB if he was still playing.

sdrawkcab321
Wow what a coincidence. The best guy in the world for the job just so happened to be someone a few offices down.

4thandInches
Oof, I don’t like the smell of this, this has PR/get the fans back our side type vibes. EDIT apparently this guy was involved previously with the making of this current panthers team, big yikes Edited January 23 by 4thandInches

That or he's just grossly incompetent
