detfan782004
This draft is loaded with so much edge talent. If they can't find some pass rush help in this draft I would question their scouting. Dallas Turner is a freak and I would hate to have him go to a rival. Chop had a decent day Verse is freaking solid Harrell is a good depth guy Just to name a few

Not talking Carter in this scenario Shrugs.... Also Mazi was asked to lose 30 lbs and play out of his natural position. There is a reason the coach was fired and new staff wants lbs back on Mazi. Just Want A Title
He has some injury concerns but LB Payton Wilson had a really good first day. His triangle numbers look like he should play safety. If he does will in his 3-cone that could really back up his stats. Medicals will be big for him. The only negative is that he is a bit short-armed. Edited March 1 by Just Want A Title

OL, WR, QB and possibly CB seem to be the strengths.

That would be nice but the cost to land one in draft over other needs like CB isn't there

It has some good players at the top but the it is a significant drop after that. Still, there are a fair number of prospects that would be solid rotational players. Marshawn Kneeland is building on a strong Senior Bowl week and doing pretty well. Darius Robinson had a solid combine has shown what most expected. Robinson should still be in the mix at 29 but that seems high for Kneeland. Kneeland should land solidly in the 2nd round assuming his medicals check out. I was kind of surprised that Bralen Trice weighed in at 247 Lbs. He probably cut weight to get faster for the combine but it didn't seem to produce eye-popping results. He checked in at 6'6 and 274 Lbs with 35-inch arm length. All of his movement drills were pretty good. He seems like a toolsy-developmental D-Lineman that might be worth a look. Florida St CB Renardo Green seems to be flying under-the-radar. I am kind of curious about him.

Just Want A Title
They found a broken bone in Koolaid McKinstry's right foot during his medicals. Hopefully, this won't affect his readiness for the NFL off-season and training camp. https://www.nfl.com/news/alabama-cb-kool-aid-mckinstry-dealing-with-jones-fracture-in-right-foot-won-t-work-out-at-combine

He's not going to do any combine drills either. I think the normal procedure is a screw in his foot. He might actually be available at 29 if we're interested.

There were some articles that mentioned questions about his long-speed. Hopefully, he will be able to run before the draft to answer those questions. That may be one of those things where people have been looking at him so long that they are magnifying his weaknesses/flaws. I would have no issues if the Lions took him at 29, assuming the rest of his medicals check out.
