Anyway, the Rams are just the better team and it showing so far. For all his plaudits, I still don't think he understands the basic premise of your guys' defensive scheme. Bootleg makes no sense in that situation. You either hand it to Gurley or you play-action to a QB sneak off-tackle. But Carroll's scheme is designed to put up a sideline-to-sideline wall, so trying to dink it over that wall and in between the second line of defenders plays right into your hand.
