minutemancl
I really love trades for teams acquiring a player where they don't actually give up any assets, just swap places. Keeping the same number of draft picks and acquiring a cheap backup like Howell is a really good move for the Seahawks. After day 2, all picks are just dart throws. It doesn't really matter where they are, but you ideally want a lot of them.
MKnight82
Incredibly stupid trade. Why would you just dump a solid QB?
49erurtaza
I don't think the Bears even come close to the value the Commanders just got for Howell.

How is 2 mid round pick swaps for a guy that is at worst a decent backup QB "overpaying". The Seahawks absolutely robbed Washington in this trade.
TakeTheBallDeep
I figured Washinton would keep him given he knows the team/building and is on a cheap deal. Would seem like a nice backup to have

Seattle isn't in a position to get a developmental QB and Howell has shown flashes. Plus they gave up practically nothing for him.
