Pugger
Suh's salary demands would be too much for Ted to consider. I'd prefer we find one in this upcoming draft. We would most likely have to give up a lot to move up for a player like Chubb but hopefully there will be a good one there in the first when our turn is up. I do think a trio of Clark/Daniels/Suh could be effective though, even though they aren't all seeing the field at once except in heavy. There's enough snaps for those 3 to rotate evenly and have everyone stay healthier and fresher. Suh just takes all of Lowry and Dial's snaps from this year, and on 3rd downs you can play this pressure package: Suh, Daniels, Martinez, Matthews, Perry, and 6 DBs. Or add an OLB draft pick and 5 DBs. I don't disagree with that at all. Though that's probably because Dean Lowry is becoming my least favorite on-the-field Packer. He's basically Kyler Fackrell on the DL.

Talent is obviously there. Bit of a Bennett situation going on there with him just pretty much blowing off coaches. Constantly late or missing meetings, not really doing what he's told on the field. He's obviously sick of losing on the Jets, but you need to sit down with the man and figure out if his issues are about playing for the jets or if his issues are personal issues that aren't going to change with a switch to a new situation and a winning football team. MacReady
Our 2018 opponents. Home: Bears, Vikings, Lions, Cardinals, 49ers, Bills, Dolphins. Away: Lions, Vikings, Rams, Seahawks, Patriots, Jets. Assuming we finish third in the division, our final away game will be Redskins. Our final home game will be whoever finishes third between Falcons, Panthers and Saints. I see two scary offenses on our schedule next year. The rest are very meh. Which means that if Capers is back, we'll be 20th defensively.

Just says "we have defensive inconsistencies that have to be addressed". It's Doms time.. if not.. it's my time.
squire12
I am ready to turn the page on the 2017 season.... I am so eager to see the direction the defense might take under a new defensive coordinator. I feel that there are some key building blocks DL: Clark and Daniels. 2nd year player in Adams, limited rotation piece in Lowry EDGE: Perry and Matthews (just do not see the wisdom in releasing a player at a position of such high value, reduce his snaps and move him around and I think you can get 1 more productive year from him. Cutting him creates another hole to find a replacement) ILB: Martinez made some very nice strides in 2017. I would anticipate a possible mid round pick to replace Thomas/depth and possibly Ryan after 2018 CB: King, Randall S: Clinton-Dix, Jones That is 9 solid starters, 2 possible UFA that could be brought back in House and Burnett. Certainly holes at another boundary CB, another EDGE rusher

I'd still throw real money at a true #1 corner like I'd have like to at Bouye last season though.
