Pretty sure you also had to trade for Justin Houston and Dee Ford (although Ford might have been draft). TBH aside from Zeke and Winston (both of which you tanked for), it seems like the bulk of your elite talent came from trades and not drafting. Might want to re-evaluate your scouting department. RuskieTitan
QB: Derek Carr (OAK) - Draft TE: Rob Gronkowski (NE) - Trade WR: Demaryius Thomas (DEN) - Draft OT: Andrew Whitworth (LAR) - Draft OG: Zack Martin (DAL) - Draft DE: Terrell Suggs (BAL) - Trade DT: Ndamukong Suh (MIA) - Draft Aside from Gronk who is a relatively recent acquisition last year, the bulk of my franchise core has been acquired during the drafts. Would be interesting to see how other teams around the league acquired their elite talents, and what the balance is of drafted vs traded for compared to seasonal records. Picking up talent in the draft and developing it does take longer and requires keeper tags to continue holding onto it, but if you can hit on an elite player for just 1 pick, it's far more cost efficient vs having to give up multiple high picks to get an elite player (who could then slump / get injured, such as OBJ). Thomas isn't on the level of OBJ for example, but I had drafted him in the 5th IIRC and I'd say that is better value than giving up how many firsts for OBJ? It's similar to the real NFL and teams that are able to draft their own talents vs having to be free agent spenders. Think Seahawks vs Redskins approach. Sure, Seahawks have only gotten one championship so far, but it's still a ring and more than what the Redskins have managed over the last decade plus with their big splash FA signings (Big Al being the big one). bucsfan333
I'd have to look. Pretty sure Matty Ice, Jordy, Casey, and Ansah (obviously) were traded for. I drafted Diggs, Daniels, and Peppers. I also drafted Howard and traded for Landry. So I'm about 50/50.

And while you did make a lot of trades to draft players, I'd still give more credit to those as 'drafted' vs traded players.
