Reilly Patterson Chad Ryland Lucas Havrisik Matthew Wright Spencer Shrader Brayden Narveson Charlie Smyth Everyone is 24/25 except Wright who is 28. Hard to guess who the Packers want. For sure he will need to have a certain level of athleticism, height might be a factor...may not want someone too short. My gut feeling. Patterson. Curious about Smyth the Irish kicker. Youngest of the lot at 22 years old. If we sign Charlie Smyth, the campaign to hijack the greatest soccer chant of all time begins immediately. The joke was that Will Grigg was essentially the '53rd man' equivalent for that Northern Irish team and played way down in a lower league, so it works perfectly for a completely unknown kicker. Charlie Smyth's on fire, your defense is terrified!
Chili
Jude McAtamney is another Irish kicker. I think the Packers will struggle to resist Charlie Smyth as he is 6'4" and 22 years old. Lately the Packers love tall specialists see JK Scott (6'6"), Anders Carlson (6'5"), Whelan (6'5"), O'Donnell (6'4"). Even the long snappers are on the tall side, Hunter Bradley (6'3"), Matt Orzech (6'3") Maybe pairing our irish punter with an irish kicker might be great for chemistry. Chili
The Packers liked Lew Nichols enough to draft him but he ended up being waived injured and as a result we couldn't put him on the practice squad and ended up signing with the Eagles a couple of weeks later. Since we're probably looking for RB depth he might be someone they would like to bring back. Still only 23. He's a big back like Jacobs and Wilson. Also I wonder if the Packers has any interest in bringing Deguara back on the PS. We do need a FB/TE/ST on the practice squad in light of Davis season ending injury. One could make a case we could claim an offensive lineman and cut two. I would reckon about the same, a little similar to Toure last year with all the WR rookies. He had 88 snaps in the first four weeks of the year, and 52 the for 14 weeks after which were more or less all due to injury issues from others. Dillard (hopefully) won't even see that level of snaps, but could be there for an injury midway through the game over the first 4-6 weeks, at which point he is hopefully supplanted by one or more of the younger guys and moved to the PS or released if ineligible. Chili
After seeing this interesting tweet I had a look at our 2024 top 30 visits to see if any of them are not on an NFL roster right now. Ja'Quan Sheppard, CB (Raiders) Omar Brown, DB (Broncos) Christopher Edmonds, S (Browns) Akeem Dent, S (Chargers) Donovan Jennings, G (Packers) That's the list. Jennings should be back on the PS and considering we only have 5 corners on the roster the Packers might look at those guys.

packfanfb
Waiver claims are final in about 10 minutes, then we'll get PS news. The only two guys I think could get claimed are AJJ and Dubose. Otherwise, I'd be surprised if we lose anyone we want back.
{Family Ghost}
I wonder if the Eagles will try to snag Clifford or Pratt .. you know, the old insider info game before a matchup.

Before potentially signing with Philly, both QBs should assess how they feel about QB sneaks........
