naptownskinsfan
This one hurts Washington fans immensely. We all wanted this guy and instead got……Jamin Davis.

How has Davis turned out? Definitely thought you guys should have taken JOK at the time, but still thought Davis was an intriguing prospect. Edit: Just looked it up and saw his fifth-year option was declined, so I'm guessing he's been a bit of a bust? Have been for awhile, everyone said we wouldn’t be able to sign anyone after trading for Watson, but DePodesta and Berry are salary cap geniuses

We’re going to start losing guys in the next 2 years (Nick Chubb, Amari Cooper, Wyatt Teller, and Joel Bitonio). All 4 because of age and injury concerns. Luckily, the only “absolutely must be resigned” guy left is MJ Emerson, but we’ve got time for him. I’d like to keep Greg Newsome, but he might get converted to safety or let go. Kiwibrown
Seems like an under pay. He should have been close to the top of the market.

He’s been a bust, but the PantherSkins coaches that Ron Rivera had probably did him no favors. Our franchise also has a history of not being able to develop ‘combine warriors’ like Davis, who shoot up after the season when they start doing workouts. This year, it seems the coaching staff is trying to get him to play DE, while still being a backup LB, so they are committed for at least this season. But overall, it’s been a disappointing tenure, especially when you factor in how well JOK has played, and many Washington fans also wanted Darrisaw who went a couple picks later.
