[Titans HC Brian] Callahan was very complimentary of the defense, which is ranked No.1 in the NFL through all of the Sunday games. "We were playing so good on defense," Callahan said, "it was almost as if we'd just punted it on 1st and 10 every time we might have won the game, the way we gave it away."

Nice vote of confidence for your offense.

The Pats have a really good defense. They did last year and they do this year.

It's saying that the pats didn't get pressure and burrow was basically just awful (orw receivers were).

Keion White had 2.5 sacks on his own, so I'm not sure how true that is. But also they covered extremely well for most of the game. Christian Gonzalez locked down Chase when they were manned up, and both Jon and Marcus Jones made plays as well.

Well, I should say that it's saying the pressure is relative to his career lol. Which is important.

But here's the thing - he held the ball on average +2.6 seconds and had a nearly 40% pressure to sack rate (because Burrow continues to invite sacks on himself and is absolutely awful at avoiding sacks).

PFF supports NGS in this one - they show only 8 pressures on Burrow in 35 drop backs.

So definitely some props to the secondary of the Pats. But these are insane numbers and reeks of a scared QB / offense when given the lack of pressure and the ADoT.

If the Pats really locked up the field like that, we need to talk more about the Pats secondary. Because that's pretty awesome

Belichick invested heavily in the secondary in his last couple of years here, and it's paying off big-time. Gonzo looked like he was en route to becoming an elite corner before he got hurt last year. Dugger has been elite for a while. Jabrill Peppers came into his own last year, and Jonathan Jones has been sneaky-good for a number of years.

Woof

His ADOT was pathetic

Bengals had the 5th most “success” on offense, but they had only 8 possessions. Burrow had a 72% expected completion rate.

Because his ADOT was so pathetic. They were playing Amish football
