I am not going to say AOC is better based off today because he only played after the game was over. Minshew will be our boo or bust playground QB and AOC the game manager. If you want to win with defense then AOC and that is my reasoning for going with AOC. Plus we know Minshew's ceiling. AOC is still growing. We have a respectable ex HC on staff with Lewis. Pierce needs to be relieved of his HC duties. His decision making is offensive and he's clueless. There is no benefit to entertaining this nonsense further after today. The embarrassment has got to stop, and that means making real, bold, change-inducing moves. Any respectable business can't do that. It would make the organization worse than the HC's performance. Cannot just fire a guy a few games in after you've hired them. Need to wait out this year, see if he can truly build anything worthwhile for the season while trying to develop your young players. There's absolutely nothing to be gained by firing him in the middle of the season. Only more things to be lost. Last year we had to get rid of McDaniels because not only were we putrid on the field but his presence was like a cancer in the locker room. The longer you kept him around, the more damage would be done. AP, while of course he has flaws, isn’t going to have that same effect. The players like him, respect him and relate to him.
