Danger
I can't say who did well or not across the board, but Diggs is something else, that's for sure.
Nozizaki
This is one of those games you burn the game film. I was frustrated with Shurmur's play calls, he exposed Keenum and this offense into unnecessary situations that really are just outside of their limitations. Why was David Morgan cross blocking Derek Barnett in the red zone? One on one? That's a mismatch, easy sack. Overall I thought the offensive gameplan was too conservative and didn't attack this Eagles secondary the way we needed to. The defense clearly didn't show up tonight. They looked straight up tired after that Saints game. I think the emotional win really caused a hangover, unfortunately. I still like this team and the way it is built. We don't have a ton of needs. I'm honestly glad we're getting a new coordinator, because that might be our most glaring weakness tonight.
VikeManDan
I can’t add much else that hasn’t already been said. Did not see this coming, would’ve been nice for our D to show up. Hell of a time to have the worst game of the year. Upset. Disappointed. Loss of words.

VikeManDan
The worst 6 quarters the defense has played.
Freakish Mind
To put it into porn terms.....This team blew it's load last week and had nothing left for the 2nd take. This meltdown was a total team effort, From the coaching staff to the players and all the way onto the fans. (yes, I even include the fans cause there was so much rahrah about us going into this game) Obviously Zimmer did not do a great job this week of preparing us and having us forget about what happened last week. When I think about it, the only guy that I can think of that actually stepped up and played well this game was McKinnon. This all pro defense we had, I don't have a clue what happened to them (I am sick of seeing Rhodes constantly on the sidelines nursing a new injury) If I was going to base Keenum coming back next season on just this game...then it's BYE FELICIA...but I'm not. As a whole, I still want Keenum back next year. He's still more reliable then whatever else we have on this roster. Just a total letdown again and back to wondering if this team will EVER give us fans a Superbowl win.
babyatemydingo
The Vikings are a good team. The Eagles are a better team. You could do a lot worse than being the Vikings. Case Keenum was no more the plan than was Nick Foles. Foles turned out to be better. But, they both made it this far. Have some faith. At least Keenum carried the team for as many games as he did. That does not mean that he is the answer. But, the rest of the team may be. Sometimes it takes a year or two. Hang tight.
Heimdallr
@JReidDraftScout had a good comment on Twitter, regarding Everson and Hunter not having much production late in the year. It is possible they are wearing down from so many snaps, and adding another good pass rusher to take snaps from them could be helpful.

I had said a few months ago that I would draft a DE fairly early. On 11/27/2017 at 10:22 AM, Klomp said: This was what made me bring up DE as a possibility..... We draft these guys in the middle rounds, and eventually rotate them in until they're good enough to take over as starter. This began even before Zimmer came in, so I think this is a product of Spielman. Brian Robison (4th), Everson Griffen (4th), Danielle Hunter (3rd) all were mid-round guys who began as rotational pieces and eventually worked their way into a full-time role. But Robison is only under contract for one more season, so it'd be wise to begin looking for that next mid-round player who can begin as a rotational piece and hopefully work his way to take Griffen's spot when the 30-year old's contract is up. It's possible that this player is already on the roster, but I have my doubts. Bower was a UDFA and Weatherly a 7th rounder. I don't want to pencil them in as future starters, as I see them more as career backups. And I'd look to target this player this year, because it would give them a year to learn with limited pressure while Robison is still on the roster. If you wait another year, you're counting on the guy to be an immediate contributor, which goes against the norm for this front office and coaching staff. Hunter was so much better last season when used in a rotation.

It hurt us (mainly in the last two weeks) that the d-line has been dreadful getting after the passer since Everson had his foot owied up. Robison was a non-factor and needs to go off into the sunset or just use him behind a rookie as a mentor. Hunter took major steps back this season compared to what he showed last year. And Griffen looked tired and/or not 100 percent since Cincy. You add that in to not having a penetrating DT, you're screwed if you're relying on getting to the QB while rushing 4. We have to look into a rotational DE to take the load off Hunter and Griffen 20-30 snaps a game and a DT that can be the Ying (getting to the QB) to Linval's Yang (defending the LOS). Floyd was that guy but I think he's all but done from that injury. Adding on....was Hunter even that impressive in the early/middle part of the year? It just seems he took a big step back from 2016 this year.
HitStickAllDay
Thought Linval, Kendricks, Jaleel Johnson, and McKinnon played pretty good. Keenum was fine. Offensive line really regressed and our play calling was significantly worse for the last few quarters. No idea why we didn’t adapt to the line troubles. Everything else was pretty meh. Can’t have turnovers no matter who the blame is on. We aren’t a team that can comeback easily from multiple touchdown deficits. Team looked flat for the first time I’ve seen. Im glad that we have Keenum. This season has been fun and he kept us in the season. However, I’d prefer not to give him a long term contract. Pocket presence deteriorated throughout the year. His arm talent isn’t there. I also think he doesn’t go through his progressions well enough and I’m not sure that’s fixable at this point in his career. Wouldve been nice if Easton stays healthy. The offensive line took a step back when he went out. Perhaps it’s just coincidence and they were playing above their talent level early, but the right side of the line was pretty bad today. I think Hill is OK, but a step back from Remmers. A disappointing day overall, but lots to be optimistic about.
