MacReady
@JBURGE, am I still dumb for not wanting to trade for Brown? https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/09/05/report-antonio-brown-threatened-to-punch-mike-mayock-in-face/ Quote According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the argument between Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown and General Manager Mike Mayock didn’t get physical, but it included the threat. Rapoport said that after screaming at each other Brown told Mayock that he’d hit him in the face, then punted a nearby football and said “Fine me for that.”
Leader
Ian Rapoport: Raiders GM Mike Mayock at his press conference: “Antonio Brown is not in the building today. He’s not going to be practicing. I don't have any more information. When we do, I’ll get it to you. That’s it for today."

" Not a perfect storm. His salary isn't that bad. Over the next 3 years he'd be the 17th, 15th and 12th highest cap hit in 2019, 2020 and 2021 respectively for any team that trades for him. And that's before the next 3 rounds of WRs get paid. So if you think he's better than that, he'd be a football bargain. All comes down to what you think of the guy, which none of us have any real insight to. Sounds like there's a lot of dysfunction in PIT." Gosh, I'm such at master at hedging my bets. Why because you're boasting about an argument based 100% on hindsight? The guy may have always been a bit of a diva, but he never came close to any of these antics at Pittsburgh and year-after-year was one of the most dominant and productive WRs in the game. If drugs are found in Mack's locker tomorrow and he's suspended for the year, are you going to tell us you prophesized that as well so anyone who wanted to trade for him is an idiot? C'mon man...

He threw a football at Ben Roethlisberger. His behavior in Pittsburgh is literally exactly why I said we shouldn't trade for him.

And I will mention that I believe the argument was between signing a premier WR, not necessarily Brown. I was totally on board with Brown until he wanted the updated contract. It was more about the money.

Joe
Enter this into the equation: Brown's antics began not too long after Burfict baptized him in that one game. I'm not of the opinion that the hit had anything to do with Brown's behavior, but others have. Thoughts?
