There is something particularly satisfying about watching Dallas and MM bubble fill with hot air. They are gonna smoke the cardinals, be declared champions by themselves and media. This will be promptly followed by getting knocked early in playoffs.

I have seen Mike McCarthy teams do a lot of things over the years. I have never seen a Mike McCarthy team declare itself champion.

As far as the media declaring champions . . . ******* A, the national media has already bestowed us our Lombardi trophy.

ProFootballTalk -   Bruce Arians has a partially-ruptured Achilles tendon; if it fully tears, he'll need surgery -- and he could end up coaching from the booth.

Remember when LaFleur sacrificed his achilles in his first preseason in GB?One of the healthiest years we’ve had. Bruce just making the necessary offerings before the postseason.

ProFootballTalk -    After getting significant "pushback," CDC may add a negative test requirement to the new five-day rule. If the NFL follows suit, it would likely keep players out longer.

Seems they are making it up as they go. NFL should stay the course, so no playoff game is won because a team had 20 guys out.

Thats what you have to do when you're dealing with multiple viruses that have different traits - only 60% of the country is vaccinated and you're trying to keep things running.
