They were clearly a borderline playoff team that got lucky. 11-5 isn't "borderline playoff", it's solid playoff, division champ level. But when your record is inflated by soft schedule, you get to play home playoff games in cozy Foxboro, it all adds up to further advancement than is probably warranted.
