With the Combine over, it is time for us to create the Dallas Cowboys Big Board. Jerry and Co. have been fired and you are our new GM. How many first round grades will we have?

Rules: Each poll will last roughly a day. In the event of a tie, the most posted selection will advance. Runoffs will be implemented at my discretion. Some options will list players, others will list positions. In the event of a position is selected, the following day will present the options for specifically that position.

Note. You cannot draft a player to trade. No one is willing to trade with you. Create your board.

Note 2 - Only 9 players will be listed at any given poll. So if you want to lobby to name someone specifically, please go ahead and mention that person. If not - use the positional option.

If Charles Haley's remarks about our team being soft and lacking accountability are even the slightest bit true, and we're not going to make any coaching or executive changes to increase the pressure of the atmosphere, perhaps a uniquely wired leader on the field is what we're missing.

I stopped voting because people are voting who they want on the team, not who the best players are. Jamming “QB” into one category is ridiculous since it prevents a voter from picking a specific person. 

Again, a big board is comprised of the best players in the draft from top to bottom, NOT a list of the best players to fill need positions on the team.

Limited to 20 spots. Every position is listed. Darnold will be the next player listed - but you and I know there are several big boards that dont have QB in the top 3 lists. You are welcome to run these polls.

Bradley Chubb obviously comes from a great bloodline. Has NFL size at 6'4" 270. And at that size, he put up these numbers:

  • 40 YARD DASH: 4.65 SEC
  • BENCH PRESS: 24 REPS
  • VERTICAL JUMP: 36.0 INCH
  • BROAD JUMP: 121.0 INCH

All of which are better than former #3 overall pick Joey Bosa. And his production is otherworldly as he amassed 79.5 TFLs and Sacks in 38 college games. A production ratio over 2 that dates back to his sophomore year(2.56(!!)Just counting his junior an senior year), and he plays arguably the 2nd most important position on the field outside QB.

 

I think he has a chance to be higher rated than Barkley. Not a dig on Barkley.
