Quarterback: The Jaguars’ defense and running game dragged Blake Bortles to the AFC title round, and the coaching staff’s season-long kid-gloves treatment of Bortles was telling. Bortles’ $19.05 million fifth-year option is guaranteed for injury, so his postseason right wrist surgery could complicate matters should the Jaguars hope to cut him. Regardless of Bortles’ status with the club, it would be a surprise if Jacksonville did not pursue veteran quarterbacks and/or use an early pick at the position. 

Offensive Guard: The Jaguars have built a solid four-man core of LT Cam Robinson, C Brandon Linder, RG A.J. Cann, and RT Jermey Parnell. Their one glaring deficiency is left guard, where Patrick Omameh’s contract is up. Hell bent on defining themselves as a smash-mouth, run-first team, the Jags must continue to prioritize their front five. 

Middle Linebacker: The Jaguars are low on needs, but they will likely look to upgrade on free agent MLB Paul Posluszny, whose role was reduced more and more as last year progressed. Telvin Smith and Myles Jack were the Jags’ two linebackers on the field for most of the season. One in-house candidate to replace Posluszny’s limited snaps is Blair Brown, a 2017 fifth-round pick.

Hernandez is a top 15 player for me in this draft, so I’d be running to the podium if I were the Jags.

Hernandez or Price would make a ton of sense and is an unbelievable value.

But Rudolph would be my top guy assuming the Jags have a high grade on him. The reality of the situation is that Rudolph is a guy who would go top 10 in most drafts, but got pushed down because of this legendarily deep QB class. The Jags look to be good for a while...and Rudolph may be the closest thing the see to a franchise QB in a while. 

Next in line would be a playmaking TE.

Huge fan of Goeddert. Would be good with him round 1 but I think interior OL is the route we go pending on how FA goes. Even then, Will Hernandez still being here has to be tempting even if we sign Pugh or another highly touted OL in FA.

I went dj Moore because I don't believe they resign either arob or lee. Gotta replace them early.

Hernandez is my 2nd choice.

A lot of balls still up in the air with respect to FA for the Jags.  Looking like WR might be a pressing need if ARob and Lee both walk, but with Sutton already gone, i don't really like the value much at the position.

So basically just a pick your flavour of OLineman.  I'd lean toward Price (as long as the injury checks out as not missing much time).  But Hernandez makes a ton of sense too.  Even McGlinchey might make sense.  Would be plenty content to see them grab a solid lineman like that.
