He's a '24 projected safety. Pretty solid player for us and will be missed. We still have two years of Sonny though (rumor is his brother is going to transfer and play S as well) and that kid is going to be an absolute star. Cooper was always failing short to exceptions. Has Day really failed to live up to expectations? His first year he got screwed over pretty bad in that Clemson game with the Targeting and Fumble calls. Makes it to the title game the following year and loses to one of the most loaded Bama teams we will probably see. Yeah last year was a disappointment and Day knew that and made changes. I dont think we ever saw Tressell or Meyer make staff changes that quickly after a single season. I dont remember Cooper making staff changes like that too.
