I think he could have legit positive value. Depends on how his list impacts suitors. The problem is finding one of those with money to pay him.

Florida could be a good fit. Losing two wingers, have space, may not want to completely reboot

Florida can have Gourde.

Lol

Honestly, I think they are going to start being smart. I'm really high on zito

We need more trades and an active UFA but what's gonna happen is literally nothing for like a week. Just watch.

EDIT - And by "we" I mean the NHL, not the Devils.

Killorn + Tampa 2nd

for

Potential 4th line C/W prospect + NJ 3rd

Killorn may have positive value but these guys are on a clock and have a crap ton of cap shedding and contract signing to do. They have 3 RFA's which are prime targets for offersheets.

Tampa doesn't have their 2021 2nd anymore since Bergevin gifted them Jack Finley.

Killorn+3rd for Bastian+4th

Done and done.

Hey we had Aho last year. I think teams in more stronger financial positions combined with agents wanting to secure the bag for their players might lead to offersheets. We'll see though.

It's legitimately very frustrating. And even if you get a team winning to make one, the player actually has to want to sign it, and it's crazy that they don't always want to lol

@Forge Am I way off on Bastian? I feel like that's really the only potential really poor slotting. I know he has solid AHL production but I'm not sold on him being anything more than a 4th liner. Sell me?

I will have him higher, but only because I think there's a good shot he actually makes it. He went up a lot for me with last year's performance.  I think he's definitely no more than bottom six, but I think he has scoring upside as a PP net guy.

I think he could be Pat Maroon if everything fell into place. It also took Maroon until he was 25 to get going in the NHL

Alright, so we have a plethora of bottom 6 types. Would you slot him at the top of the bottom 6 prospects then? Or are Merkley/McLeod higher?
