With Mookie on the horizon and guys like Bahl / Okhotiuk who can at least provide a third d-man pairing plug, I kind of feel like he needs to be worried about his job at some point. Colton White is better but isn't a prospect, so I get why you don't play him over Smith. But at some point those other guys need to pass him in the queue. Doesn't matter right now because the team sucks and is going nowhere this year so you can let him fight through it, but this season has been pretty bad.
