Tough sell for Dorsey when Hue is obviously gone in a couple months or sooner.

This is exactly why I’m not a fan of FA when you’re a struggling team.

The only people who sign here are not terribly interested in winning and mostly looking for a check. That’s reflected in their play once in uniform in past years.

Nope. He was saying a tie vs. a loss. A 4-11-1 team will pick after all 4-12 games. So the loss would make it easier to get lucky on draft position, the win would make playoffs more likely, the tie hurts both.

That team would pick before all 5-11 teams, though. I don't see how a tie helps or hinders. It is just a 0 for the week and doesn't effect anything in standings(?).
