2-2-3, 5-5-6, it's pretty much the same thing.

556 works in 223, but I think you'd have problems going 223 in 556.

There is a little known rule in the NFL playoff rules that states if a team finished the season with more ties than wins and losses then it automatically advances to the Super Bowl.

come on Dorsey

Not his biggest fan, but I gotta cut him some slack here. No free agent is coming to this clown show unless they have zero other options.

Tough sell for Dorsey when Hue is obviously gone in a couple months or sooner.

This is exactly why I’m not a fan of FA when you’re a struggling team.

The only people who sign here are not terribly interested in winning and mostly looking for a check. That’s reflected in their play once in uniform in past years.

Na, draft works on winning pct so ties actually act as a loss there.  Playoffs it does make harder tho

Nope. He was saying a tie vs. a loss. A 4-11-1 team will pick after all 4-12 games. So the loss would make it easier to get lucky on draft position, the win would make playoffs more likely, the tie hurts both.

That team would pick before all 5-11 teams, though. I don't see how a tie helps or hinders. It is just a 0 for the week and doesn't effect anything in standings(?).
