His value comes from running and defense and as long as Trout is there (which I expect him to be for his career) he isn't playing center and his bat doesn't profile to corner. I guess they could move trout to a corner like when they had Bourjous but I don't think they want to do that. And it's not a terrible strategy (we took another athletic OF last year with Adell). The tools can tend to give them more "perceived" value as trade-bait.
