Mexico deserved it and while I thought they were wrong to bunker so early they got across the line. They cant do that moving forward though. Germany had pressure late but were awful by their standards. Boateng and Hummels were both bad and the fact they were left isolated time and time again did them no favors. This certainly turned the group on its head. Mexico needs to have this kind of performance against teams they are expected to beat to get a knockout round matchup against an easier opponent. Don't leave out Khedira. He looked like those knee injuries have finally caught up to him.
