Well, it's not the moves were similar because they weren't. Whatever way you slice it, Durant did what LeBron did times 10. However, I hate this revisionist history crap. When LeBron formed the big 3 in Miami, it wasn't done to make it fair for the rest of the league. LeBron thought the machine the Warriors have become is exactly what the Heat would turn into, hence the not five, not six, not seven line.

So yeah, we basically reward those that end up disappointing lol.

I think the moves were similar, but like you said Durant just did it better. And as you said The Heat were constructed to dominate the league for years to come and it didn’t work out that way. So people are just playing the results at this point.

Difference between the heat and Warriors. GSW’s owner seems to pay whatever money is needed to keep the team as best as possible. Arson wasn’t willing to pay what it takes to keep every player possible.

Durant didn’t do it better. Bron built a team to take down the best team in the conference. Durant just joined the best team in the conference. Durant just did it easy way.

okay i need to drop some knowledge.

1.  lebron won't be negatively judged by his miami superteam, but durant will be?  Boy if you don't....  so many things here.  first, LeBron had his signature biggest meltdown ever on said superteam.  secondly, leBron is and will always be the guy who people consider the 'starter' of these superteams.  third, leBron is considered the best player since jordan so he's judged different than Durant.

also

2.  If you actually watch basketball, you can tell the Warriors needed Kevin durant.  people so hung up on the 73 wins.... SO WHAT THEY DIDN'T WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!!! they lost to the cavs who brought the same team back.  without Durant how do we know the warriors win the title last year?  Maybe the Cavs with irving win their second straight ring.  also, if You watched the Houston series this year... they win that without Durant?  child Please.  Durant was needed for them to win these two straight championships, it's obvious.

3.  LeBron lost in the finals TWICE with the superteam heat.  TWICE.  got blown off the floor in a finals record margin by the Spurs and then the biggest meltdown in the history of human history against the mavs.  durant has won 2 straight rings with the Warriors.

end of discussion.

When LeBron James went to the Heat, they had 1 championship from 2006.
When Kevin Durant went to the Warriors, they had 1 championship from 2015.
When Michael Jordan unretired and went back to the Bulls, they already had 3 championships.

Michael Jordan is the ultimate ring chaser and coward tbh. He ruined the NBA.

MJ was such a punk, couldnt win on his own so he joined that super team.

I mean, let's not forget that he decided to ring chase in college too. He joined up with an established Sam Perkins and James Worthy.

He even didn't play on his varsity team as a freshman in HS because he wanted that JV ring.

And what about joining perrinal powerhouse Washington after his second retirement?

He just wanted to kill Kwame Browns career out of spite and jealousy. MJ couldn’t even get drafted #1 overall.

He also shipped off a young Rip for Stackhouse trying to create a more veteran super team.

He knew that a real man, Kevin Durant, who was from the DC area would surpass him by winning titles without needlessly chasing rings like a C O W A R D. So he moved to the DC area to try and find him and stop him from ever playing games. Playing for the Wizards was his cover.

Difference is warriors drafted curry, dray and Klay and got kd in free agency. Miami only drafted wade but got bron, bosh and ray via fa ( or did ray get traded). Bron brought well known already established  all stars together to make the super team. Warriors just developed draft picks into all stars.

People just mad cause the warriors hit on some draft picks and even some fa’s no one wanted like Livingston, Andre etc. Dray was even a 2nd rounder lol. Our front office just built a monster via the draft and kd just took us over the top.

bro why do people keep saying kevin durant joined the best team in the league.  THE WARRIORS WERE NOT THE BEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE WHEN DURANT JOINED THEM.

please just stop trying to bring durant down with nonsense.  lebron is 3-6 in the finals.  been swept twice and 4-1'd twice.  lets talk about that.
