This is the dead zone time of the year, but we still have teams with players looking for a team, like: DeAndre Hopkins, Dalvin Cook, Ezekiel Elliott, Leonard Fournette, Kareem Hunt, Melvin Gordon III... All could sign before training camp & could be keepers this year. But at this point It makes it a difficult decision this early to keep them without a team. If we did keepers at the start of training camp chances are they will find homes if there going too? We could start the draft within a wk after our keepers are set. That's my two cents.......... Lions017 Posted July 13, 2023 Share Posted July 13, 2023 I propose starting the draft as soon as keepers are locked and everything is set up - with the caveat being that there is no time limit. If we’re ready, let’s roll! If someone is gone for a day or two until the official start date or I guess really thinks they need the extra week, then we wait for them I guess.
