jleisher
Just curious, with the Panthers and Titians losing or looking for TE's, would you trade one of ours? Which one and for what?
Lodestar
I guess if they feel confident in Tonyan, they could look at trading Kendricks for a 5th or 6th. Would that be worth it? I don't know.
FinneasGage
I'd be happy w/ a 6th for Kendricks. Would rather Lewis & Tonyan be on the field
MacReady
Not worth it in my opinion. We'd only get a conditional 7th for Kendricks, Lewis has too much value, and we'd be strengthening a conference rival if we traded to the Panthers. Those tight ends aren't looking fantastic now, but having even two of them healthy in December when they've played with Aaron for several months will be lethal. ricky
Totally agree with Outpost31. After one game, you want to get rid of a depth player at a key position? Not a good idea IMO.

Leader
I'd actually given this some thought earlier. A TE for an EDGE rusher. Figured it would never happen - so didnt post it. We move a TE - I want a body back for this year. Its too early and we're not so deep we want to be moving our TE depth for low 2019 draft picks. IMO
MantyWrestler
My point is why? No way we get anyone that can pressure the QB fo a #2 or #3 TE. Draft pick... is it worth giving up maybe one of the best #2 or #3 TE’s in the league or a promising young TE for an end of the draft pick next year? I just don’t see any value to it. Cadmus
Jonnu Smith and Ian Thomas are both better than Lance Kendricks.

If Lance Kendricks is the bar, it has been set rather low. I do like both those young TE and would really have liked GB to have drafted a developmental TE in the last few years. snackattack
Question- how does a player’s salary get paid out when he gets traded mid season? Assuming everything but base salary gets paid by original team, then team that traded for him picks up the game checks for remainder of the season? Maybe but my point still stands, why, what would you get back that we need and could use? Could we get a #3 OT, no. Could we get anyone who can get after the QB... no. So why not keep what we have and be strong at TE
