Look, I’m not saying he’s not a good player, he is.

Im not saying he wasn’t a good addition, he was.

But when folks start making nonsensical claims like he’s better than TO, looks like a HOFer, etc I don’t think it’s wrong to point out the absurdity and give some perspective to the “greatness” of Jarvis Landry.

They are 2 different players entirely. It's comparing LeBron to Michael. You're right it's nonsense. Jarvis will be a HoF for different reasons than T.O. "IF"  Jarvis has the career to consider it.

Sure, but who’s arguing Watkins was a great value? His was a much shorter contract too iirc.

That’s what happens when you’re a poor team like the Browns have been, you overpay for talent.

actually, watkins' deal was set up worse than landrys.  we can get out of landrys after paying 34 mil over 2 years for 4.5 Mil, but the chiefs have to pay 7 mil to get out of watkins' deal after 2 years.  if anything Landry's deal is shorter than Watkins even though the sticker price says 5 years

Jarvis contract is genius for the browns. If he isnt playing good in years 3-5 we have a ton of leverage to renegotiate or let him go.

If that is the work of Paul D he is worth every penny.

It is similar to Jamie Collins contract, if we keep him this offseason he will have to play with his hair on fire to make the team.
