LoL what in the...?

Obviously this is some sort of a botched metaphor. This comes with the territory when you're in the middle of press conferences discussing things of such a nature.  Sometimes we make mistakes, but we can't live in our fears and be afraid. Embrace the challenge and move forward.

Only if the Cards don't pick him or trade out of the spot. The Raiders can't catch the Cards in SOS. It's a huge gap. They'd need the cards to win against the Rams or Seahawks (the latter on the road). Very, very unlikely to happen.

no. Mullens is a solid back up for shanny, that is it.  Jimmy g will get his chance to prove what he is

You ride the hot hand, trade Jimmy.

That's just ridiculous. Sorry man. But Mullens is a physically limited caretaker. No shame in that, particularly as a UDFA, but he's not a good starting quarterback in the NFL. He's a quality back up under Shanny's system who could split you 4 games if something happened and the schedule wasn't too rough. You don't "ride the hot hand" into the following season and trade the guy who flashed franchise potential and you just gave over 100 million dollars to. That's just kind of asinine. The guy got three starts this year. The team really doesn't know anything more about him this year than they did last year.

He'll get his chance to prove his worth. And if he's not worthy, it won't be Mullens who becomes the franchise quarterback.
