How did the Bears go on a shopping spree and still sign Mack to 100+M contract in Mitch's 2nd year? edit: I think youre missing the point.

Because they did not have Aaron Rodgers contract (highest in the league) on the books in 2018 before they traded him in 2019.
SkippyX
You know how the world in 'The Man in the High Castle' is an alternate reality? A 2001 Patriots team that did not have Drew Bledsoe and his contract when they signed the players you mentioned is also an alternate reality. x0x
I'll also ask people who might think it could be broken eventually to consider the NFL in 30 years time or in 40. If the playoffs have been expanded for example and there are 40+ teams in the league.

The only GoaT conversation was Montana or Rice back then. They could have kept it rolling but they went for Giovanni Carmazzi

Chargers
I voted no and never. We can have a QB who garners GoaT talk in future be it stats/wins/eye ball test but it'll really difficult to go 9 straight seasons in which you win your division and win the first playoff game. So you're asking us to not only predict the future of expected records based on how the league is structured now, but you also want us to add another layer to that?? CKS97
Pats fans basically think the AFC-CG is their birthright. In New England, a divisional playoff loss would basically be considered armageddon. They basically just expect to be in the Final Four every year. BayRaider
Records will always be broken but this one will stand for a good 60 years probably.
