Waiting for @GmenΒ to jump on the train in NFL Gen and start a "DANIEL JONES FACTS" thread. ala the similar Marcus Mariota, Kirk Cousins, and Sean Payton threads.

I made a general thread about Dave Gettleman and the Giants rebuild. Crickets. After all the memes all offseason, it’s suddenly too early to talk. Typical.Β

Most people tend to bash PFF because it doesn't line up with their conventional thinking, I've always been a closet PFF fan frankly, just make sure to continue forming your own opinions and use it as a guideline not the law of the land. Runningback is always weird with them though IMO.Β

I can immediately think of 3 "You blew it Carson" plays this season.

1. The second pick of the Falcons game, first one was basically a punt so NBD
2. When he missed Goedert crossing the field wide open on a play that if he threw it to him would have been a TD
3. The horribly inaccurate pass attempt to Alshon on the last drive of the Green Bay game towards the right sideline.

QUARTERBACK

Top 6:
1. Drew Brees 91.0
2. Carson Wentz 88.4
3. Dak Prescott 87.2
4. Philip Rivers 85.6
5. Russell Wilson 82.8
6. Tom Brady 82.3

Yeah I'm not sure where the discrepency comes from. Probably because Drew Brees only has 12 pass attempts per team game played, so he's not included. The screenshot his friends shows probably shows all QBs regardless of pass attempts.

The Eagles lost Avonte Maddox to a neck sprain after a scary play against the Packers last week, as well as Sidney Jones to a hamstring injury in the first-half of a win over Green Bay. The Eagles already are without Ronald Darby, Jalen Mills and Cre’Von LeBlanc for at least a few more weeks.

That leaves the Eagles defense with only three healthy cornerbacks β€” Rasul Douglas, Craig James andΒ Orlando Scandrick.

Jesus!

PFF has Wentz, Kelce and Brooks onΒ its first quarter all pro team.Β

β€œCarson Wentz has outperformed his box score numbers, leads all quarterbacks in passing grade through Week 4 - PFF
If just those five passes go Wentz’s way, he goes from a passer rating of 95.3 that ranks 15th in the NFL to a passer rating of 108.5 that ranks fifth. His yards per attempt go from 6.6 (22nd) to 8.0 (8th), and his 11 touchdowns are leading the league. Yes, we can do this exercise for every quarterback in the NFL, but this is more about showing the impact that as few as five plays can have on traditional stats, or even advanced stats, as they’re not properly weighing the context of each throw. When factoring in every throw, we get a better view of a player’s performance, and Wentz has been on the unlucky side when it comes to getting help from his playmakers”

Which 5 throws are we talking about here?

Can he improve his box score numbers, cause he's on my fantasy team.Β Β

Just trying to make sure we're not discounting the INTs (Mind you only one of them was actually a notable INT)

I did read something where’s he’s thrown 4 interceptable balls....apparently. Don’t know how accurate that is.Β
