He isn't a first rounder with 4.6 time

I mean, was he a first rounder to begin with?  Story on Jacobs was always "he's good at everything but he is not fast."   So a 4.6 pretty much just confirms what a lot of people have been seeing.  If he ran a 4.4 I would wonder why he didn't play that fast.

well I think people have him as a late 1st rounder right now

I mean, 4.6 is okay for an RB, but it's not good.  I never saw why some people had Jacobs in their top 10 prospects anyway.

I think some project him to get better with more touches, but that’s risky with him playing at Bama and always having fresh legs. His versatility makes him standout a bit from other Bama rbs.  Weak rb class makes him look better too.

Top ten in this class would be silly.  Any class for that matter

It’s not a surprising time for him, but I also thought he could potentially run sub 4.5.  There have been much better rb prospects in recent drafts who fell out of the first.

Thought Jacobs would run 4.55. Maybe he's still not 100% from the groin injury he had during the combine?

Harris ran 4.57 at the combine, but Jacobs was 1/100th faster than Harris during their spring testing 40's at Bama 2 years ago, 4.50 vs 4.51, so I'm thinking Jacobs might only be like 95% instead of 100% due to his groin, or he's just slower than I thought.
