He still managed to lead the league with a 19 yd average, with a horrible QB for most of the season. But Fitz was throwing an amazing deep ball when he was right. Winston on the other hand, which he openly critized, was the issue. Desean openly backed Fitz and wanted him to start. Some of this is going to be on Carson whether this works. We all know he’s not terrific with the deep ball. They are going to have to work together to make it dynamic. Granted, Wentz generally operated without a true deep threat but this should be a good test on whether or not Carson is a truly complete QB.
