I wish I could have known Ryan Finley would be available at 235, lol, so I could have maybe traded down a bit for some extra picks to address some needs like TE and punter to go with backup QB. Also wish I was on instead of doing taxes to get a less injury prone RB, but I like the talent. I like Hodge and was surprised he was there in the 7th, he and the Bufallo WR went way later than I thought they would. TRADE: 1.01 (Nick Bosa) surrendering 1.04 (DK Metcalf) + 1.24 (Jerry Tillery) TRADE: 1.08 (Devin White) + Theo Reddick surrendering 1.27 (Noah Fant) + 2.35 (Chase Winovich) + Jalen Richard 1.01 Nick Bosa, DE The Ohio State 1.08 Devin White, MLB LSU 4.106 Will Grier, QB West Virginia 5.140 Rodney Anderson, RB Oklahoma 7.218 Khalil Hodge, LB Buffalo 7.235 Alec Ingold, FB Wisconsin
Ghostnote
The Texans are not in a bad spot. Franchising Clowney was smart and their overall roster really needed secondary and offensive line. This is where I put most of the focus unless there was an absolute player I could not resist outside of QB. 1.23 - Andre Dillard, OT, Washington State Huge need for the OL to protect Watson. Slot in at LT and move Davenport to the RT spot. Let him and Rankin battle for the position in camp. 2.22 - Justin Layne, CB, Michigan State Aaron Colvin has declined as of late, so Layne could slide into a stater role and at least take over for Joseph when the old man calls it quits. 2.23 - Jonathan Abram, S, Mississippi State Potential starter at either S position, but a great pick at this point for depth and talent level. Level headed character guy as well. 3.23 - Kaden Smith, TE, Stanford This was an absolute must. All the big name TE's were gone and Smith was still available. Had to grab him. 5.23 - Saivon Smith, CB, Alabama Too good of value here. The depth at CB is a bit lacking so adding a solid ST's guy and depth for the NB and DB was essential. 6.23 - Javon Patterson, G, Ole Miss Depth along the interior offensive line. Houston cannot afford to let the line decline from injury without solid depth.

WizardHawk
Thanks EPC. When you decide to run one again (not a 4 team one) you know where to find me. Done with Indy. Defense and pass catcher heavy. Really wanted to add a 1T to pair with Jones, but didn't happen. Getting Collier and Tavai a rd later than I have them was a big boost. Taylor and Murphy are my #1s at respective position. DRAFT:1[26] - Taylor Rapp / S / Washington // Immediate starter next to Hooker and excellent fit in Eberflus D.2[34 NYJ] - Byron Murphy / CB / Washington // Murphy can start right away if needed, but for now happy with him in nickel/dime packages. 2[59] - Dre'Mont Jones, DT, Ohio St // Solid penetrating 3T.3[89] - L.J. Collier, EDGE, TCU // Collier is a 2nd rder for me. Good all around game.4[135] - Jahlani Tavai, LB, Hawaii // Tavai is so underrated imo. High value pick as Tavai is a top 100 for me. 5[164] - Dax Raymond / TE / Utah St // Raymond needs some polish, but getting a young, athletic TE was a must. 6[199] - Penny Hart / WR / Georgia St // Was surprised Hart was available here. Excellent value.6[205 NE] - Jakobi Meyers / WR / N. Carolina St // Decent tools and will get a year to groom. 7[239 NE] - Jamal Davis / EDGE / Akron // On the small side for a 4-3 EDGE, but big SPARQ numbers and impressive spider graft. 7[240] - Jimmy Moreland / CB / James Madison // Undersized but a great nose for the ball (18 picks / 40 PDs) and big play ability. TRADES:NE sends picks 205 and 239 IND sends TE Moe Ali-Cox MIA sends WR Kenny Stills // Really wanted to get a veteran compliment to pair with Hilton. Stills should excel in Indy offense. IND sends pick
48 1/2ers
Chargers draft was overall went okay I guess, I wanted a DT earlier but the tops ones got plucked way too early for me to have a chance, the killer was Dre'mont Jones going at pick #59 @WizardHawk he was the last one I was willing to pick before round 4. Overall I added a lot of depth to both sides of the ball, including the QB with a potential gem in Daniel Jones who's the ideal sit for a year candidate in this class. Risner it the one guy that makes this team immediately better, everyone else is going to need to earn snaps. I also believe after watching so much of him before the selection Anthony Nelson is very is going to be a beast in the NFL. There just aren't a lot of guys like that that come around often. Round 1 – 28th overall - Dalton Risner OT Kansas State Round 2 – 60th overall - Anthony Nelson DE Iowa Round 3 – 91st overall - Daniel Jones QB Duke Round 4 – 130th overall - Emeke Egbule LB Houston Round 5 – 166th overall - Keelan Doss WR UC Davis Round 6 – 200th overall - Cortez Broughton DT Cincinnati Round 7 – 242nd overall - Donald Parham TE Stetson
