There is photo evidence of injuries consistent with domestic abuse. The witness may be a low quality character herself, but that doesn't mean the abuse didn't happen. I guess you should've been in charge of the investigation, then. Doubt you would've done worse. If the league had just been clear that this was about a repeated pattern of behaviors that falls under personal conduct, the NFLPA may not be fighting it so hard. And if you read through it (especially toward the end), you'll see affidavit after affidavit (even two from off-duty cops) that witnessed the alleged "victim" get into a fight with another women outside a bar the night in question.
